Tandem bicycles built in the USA for road, gravel, touring and off-road riding, including models for children and riders with special needs.

Tandems are built for two riders, and building one well takes a long, stiff frame and parts that can handle two riders' weight and pedaling force. The makers here focus on tandems, from road and gravel tandems to off-road and electric-assist models. There are designs that let each rider coast or pedal on their own, and a semi-recumbent tandem with an adjustable seat for children or riders with special needs.
Many custom frame builders and titanium shops also build tandems to order.
Custom bicycles and tandems, including the Viewpoint semi-recumbent tandem with independent drivetrains and an adjustable stoker seat for children or riders with special needs, plus custom touring and city bikes built to order for each rider.
