Klein Tools is a multi-million-dollar company that employs approximately 2,500 American workers.

Forging Operations

Many of Klein's hand and edge tools are forged at their Turn-Key Forging company at Elk Grove.

Klein has the country’s first automated forging system, that uses their own proprietary blend of U.S. sourced tool steel.

They take 20 foot billets and stamp out high quality raw forgings that are then sent off to to their own factories in Texas to be finished into a final product.

Finishing Operations

Klein has two manufacturing plants at its Mansfield location near Dallas, one for pliers and wire strippers and another for screw drivers and nut drivers.

The two factories employ more than 240 workers that machine, grind and heat-treat raw forgings from Illinois into a finished product.
