All but one of these mints produce some (or all) of their products here in the US from bullion sourced here in America.

US Mint

US Mint
The U.S. Mint currently has 4 has mints in service located at Denver, Philadelphia, San Francisco and West Point.

The mint at Denver manufactures coin dies; stores silver bullion and also mints circulating coins, numismatic products including annual uncirculated coin sets & commemorative coins.

The mint at Philadelphia produces coin and medal dies plus it also mints circulating coins, numismatic products including annual uncirculated coin sets, commemorative coins & medals.

In addition, the Philadelphia Mint employs a team of medallic artists who are entrusted with creating designs and sculptural models for the production of all the nation’s coins and medals.

Although the mint at San Francisco does not currently produce circulating coins, it does mint clad and silver proof coin sets & commemorative coins.

The mint at West Point, located near the U.S. Military Academy in New York stores silver, gold, and platinum bullion and also mints American Eagle proof and uncirculated coins in gold, silver, and platinum, American Buffalo gold bullion coins & commemorative coins.

Starting in 2019, and a first for the U.S. Mint in 227 years of minting coins, the West Point mint began minting a limited amount of America the Beautiful quarters with the “W” mint mark, and put them into circulation. The goal was to create excitement about coin collecting by introducing rare coins into circulation, allowing anyone the opportunity to collect the quarters from their pocket change.
