About Swamp Fox Knives
I make a large assortment of high quality custom reproductions of hand forged knives of many styles common to early American history. I forge longhunter knives of the eastern frontier, bowie knives and belt knives. I also make skinner style knives, several dagger style knives,and camp utility knives. They are forged with high carbon steel with the intent of being useable hunting knives...not wall hangers. Most of my forged work is based upon research in reference books or are copies of knives on display at historical sites and in museums. Some of my knives are original pieces. I will make special orders as time permits.
