About Moulton Knives
I started out as a full time knife maker from the beginning, in addition to doing my Wildlife Art work, I engaged in creating many styles of knives from basic hunting knives, to tactical knives, then to the higher end art knives. This situation provided for a totally self taught learning process that was quite serious. I still derive the majority of my personal income from the knives & engraving. I have been a member of the Knifemakers Guild since 1997. I use CPM-154 & ATS-34 as the primary steels in my knives, as I feel they have all the qualities that are important in a knife steel. I also use other makers hand made Damascus steel.
