Since 1972, all Outer Banks rope hammocks, porch swings and rockers are completely handmade at their shop in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. Their hammock spreaders and swing and chair frames are constructed from the finest ash hardwoods available, and they use only the highest quality quarter-inch soft spun polyester rope – it won’t rot like cotton rope. They are carrying on the dying tradition of hammocks that are still made by hand on the coast of the Carolinas.
