American/USA Made Bicycles
We are compiling an ever growing list of American manufacturers, from large corporations down to individuals that produces and/or sells bicycles made here in the United States.
This list may include bikes produced and assembled from parts and materials 100% manufactured here in America, but some may also contain a percentage of materials produced outside the USA.
There are currently 21 categories containing 173 American/USA made bicyles.
Some of the companies listed in this directory that produce bikes here in the US, may also manufacture them in other countries as well. Many businesses alter their brand names, manufacturing practices and product designs with little or no notice, so if there are still questions that remain, we suggest contacting the manufacturer directly.

In this day in age it’s not possible to build a completely “made in the USA” bike so I won’t treat the content of this site like that either. A lot of us riders that love our country realize this and still want to keep up on the latest components for our American made rides.

Click for detailsI have built over a hundred bicycles since I opened the doors of my workshop in 2005. They are all a result of a love affair with the bicycle as a tool for discovery, a vehicle of efficiency and one of the most elegant machines that man has ever made. I have been a cycle-tourist, raced road, cross and mountain bikes, wrenched on weeklong tours and in dark basements, messengered in the rain for years. I have been caught in Midwestern hailstorms, fixed thousands of bikes and seen them roll smoothly out the door. I have ridden carbon fiber race bikes, bad suspension mountain bikes in the 1990's and rusty cruisers found in alleys in the snow. I have cut my hands on a sharp lug and shed blood for my craft.
