Aunt Lizzie's Original Cheese Straws was established in 1983. Celebrating 32 years in 2015!
Ann Randalls and Ginna Kelley grew up together. The cheese straws are Ann's mother's recipe. Her name was Elizabeth, and Ann's friends called her Aunt Lizzie. Ginna and Ann decided they wanted to do something. They went to Ann's mother, and she shared her recipe with them and the rest is history! They made them from an old-fashioned cookie press from Scandinavia that you cannot buy anymore.
They also sell a pecan cookie -- an old-fashioned wedding cookie that's Ginna's mom's recipe, in addition to jalapeno cheese straws, low carb cheese straws, shrimp and grits mix, She Crab Soup mix and Captain Rodney's glaze.?
